Michael Amato - Owner and Production Manager
Michael is co-owner of Sarah Graham Metalsmithing. He manages production, including making jewelry and casting. He works really long hours so that he can take time off to go skiing, hiking or rafting, depending on the season.

Denise Long - Business Manager
Denise spent many years as the accountant for a private K-12th grade school before coming to work full time for Sarah Graham Metalsmithing in the summer of 2003. Denise manages the entire business, including all accounting, legal and administrative responsibilities. She is also in charge of customer service and is great at helping our customers choose the best jewelry for their stores or themselves. Her greatest job, though is managing (and putting up with) Sarah Graham.

Kristen Bouab - Studio Manager and Design Assistant
Kristen Bouab grew up in Sacramento, California, and moved to San Francisco with her husband, Younes, after their elaborate Moroccan wedding. She has taking several jewelry making classes at the community college for the past three years, and worked in fashion retail before joining us in the fall of 2007.

Rose Jaress - Bench Jeweler
Rose is a second generation jeweler who grew up in Seattle, Washington. Exposed to jewelry making from a very young age by her father, a master jeweler, Rose had a variety of jobs in the industry before earning her Jewelry Technician Certificate from The Revere Academy. Rose joined us in the summer of 2008.

James Soto - Jewelry Apprentice
James is a native of Southern California, where he was a Theatre Major at Palomar College. He was introduced to jewelry while there, and when he moved to San Francisco he switched his concentration to jewelry, furthering his skills at San Francisco City College. He came to SGM in the summer of 2008, and is quickly acquiring the skills needed to make our jewelry. He has a great design aesthetic and a long term goal to own his own boutique.

Stefon Shelton - Networking and IT
Stefon has a degree in Optical Engineering from UC Davis. He will be starting a master's degree program in the fall in engineering. He has worked for Sarah Graham Metalsmithing part time since May of 2006, where he manages our technology and photography, and makes jewelry. He has spent many years as a river rafting guide and is an avid skier, and when Michael takes time off, we usually lose Stefon, too.
